If you got an email from Google Search Console like “Your Website is detected a new coverage issue”, then don’t panic. It’s an internal issue in google indexing, not on your Website.
Recently Google Search Console automatically sent out thousands of emails alerting site owners of redirect errors. However, on 13 Dec.2021 official Twitter account of Google Search Central updated that all those emails may have been sent by the search console due to an internal indexing error. Right now, Google still investigating this issue.
It’s unusual to happen something like this. Google Tweeted
“Increase of error and email notifications are due to Google Internal indexing issues, and we will quickly fix this error ”
said Google Search Central on Twitter Account.
An internal issue is causing an increase of redirect errors during indexing, and associated email notifications. This is not due to any website issues, but is due to an internal Google issue. We hope to fix this problem quickly.
